Because of personal family problems, exhaustion from too much to do and too few hours in a day, and any other lame excuse I can come up with, our schedule will immediately change. You might remember: Monday – I Am Not Alone; Wednesday- Caregiver’s Survival Blog; Friday- Caregiver’s Journal. The new schedule is…No schedule at all. When Dr. Martha, Harriet, or I finish an article, it will be posted immediately. I will send announcements when something is posted.

On November 1, 2019, Harriet and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We have three children and seven grandchildren. In the past, I have worked for twelve years, on the assembly line, for General Motors. I was a Lutheran Pastor for over 30 years. Since my retirement I have been called to the ministry of Caregiver. My wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about three or four years ago. However, after an in depth evaluation with a Neurological Psychiatrist in September, 2018, the diagnosis has changed to Frontotemporal Dementia. He wrote, "Although I Cannot rule out Alzheimer's, after Harriet's evaluation, my conclusion is that she is struggling with Frontotemporal Dementia." View all posts by caregiver
